The AOC has hired a professional program evaluator, Apex Education, to design and conduct an evaluation of the SESV program.
The evaluation process sought to identify Best Practices for the program, that is, essential components of SESV services to be developed through communications and consensus building with the referring Courts and service providers. The result of this collaborative process is the Best Practice Manual for the SESV program, which will be used subsequently to assess each local program’s own policies, procedures and practices to determine the value of the program, and ultimately the return on investment of State funding for the program.
Phase II of the project will be consist of program assessments with all of the SESV service providers over the course of 18 months (January 22, 2015 – June 30, 2016).
Phase III will complete the program evaluation with the development and implementation of an Outcome Evaluation Tool (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017).
